Education
Morgan County's four public school districts emphasize individualized instruction and use advanced technology to prepare students for the future. Each school focuses on individual development through quality academic programs and a broad variety of extracurricular activities, from athletics to the arts. Top quality teaching translates into a large percentage of students graduating and continuing their education in trade schools, colleges, and universities. These schools produce graduates with sound rural values and a strong work ethic.

There are two private Christian Schools in the County, Riverview Christian School near Brush and Trinity Lutheran Christian Day School in Fort Morgan. Both offer small class sizes and welcome students of any faith.

Morgan Community College is an NCA accredited two-year community college. As a member of Community Colleges of Colorado, MCC offers associate degrees, applied technology and vocational programs, as well as adult basic and continuing education. MCC can customize training programs for business and industry.

Health Care
Morgan County's two hospitals are meeting the many challenges of the health care industry. These medical centers compliment traditional services with cutting-edge technology, a large range of specialty clinics, occupational health programs and other offerings so that residents of Morgan County do not need to leave the area to receive up-to-date health care services.

Colorado Plains Medical Center (CPMC) in Fort Morgan is designated a Level III trauma center by the State of Colorado. East Morgan County Hospital (EMCH) in Brush is designated a Level IV trauma center by the State of Colorado. Both CPMC and EMCH enjoy strong community support that has allowed both facilities to expand in recent years and continually improve technology.

The Morgan County Communications Center provides 24-hour public safety dispatch for enhanced 911, police, fire, and ambulance calls. Ambulance service is owned by Morgan county, with 32 volunteers, all of whom are certified EMTs.
